Very good movie in my opinion

I won't delve too far into it as i've been drinking all night and it's now morning and so don't feel like typing it out - but I first saw this movie when I was about 22, living in the dorms, and it rang home. After having not seen it for several years, I watched it last night (i'm 34) and can say that it still holds up really well - there is alot of realism in this film that some might not realize.

I'm 20 and I feel this was a decent time for me to watch the flick, it may not be original because there has been 100 movies that deal with same subject matter but I find this a very good film.Nice acting and writing, it isn't as aware of itself as some people think but more of a film about how hard it is to deal with having to get older but have none of the characters be dramatic.

People having a sense of humor felt more real to me.

I thought this was a terrific movie, beautifully put together, very relatable, appealing and well developed characters, nice performances, witty writing. But the best part about it was the plot. The plot was fantastic, I never saw it coming.

P.S. Isn't every post a spoiler?

Agreed. I loved this movie. Really funny and well put together. And touching.

I also recently graduated, just saw this movie and found it extremely bland.

Agreed. I think it has its problems but the high points make up for it. The sweetness of the characters, their unexpected depth, the sharp dialogue.

And the ending. The ending kills me every time. It's just moving, bittersweet and really lovely. The last scene stayed with me forever.

And while we're on the subject, I always wanted Josh Hamilton and Olivia D'Abo to be bigger stars after seeing this. They're both superb.

Pretentious . (period)

This movie still holds up for me and the one poignant aspect of it is that it always recaptures the emptiness I felt when my college days were ending and the transition into the unforgiving realities of life outside of college. Every one of my contemporary friends who went to school with me also love this movie for the same reasons.
