Definitely captures the pre-cell, pre-internet intellectual college 90's

When bright young people could actually allow themselves to be bored or ponder the future or say clever things without having their faces buried in their little texting idols every five seconds. I went to St. John's College in Santa Fe back then and the overintellectualized, sleep-around vibe is just right, if a little irritating when you're now in your forties and their problems seem pretty quaint indeed.
