Just watched it again and that kid bugs me. One, she's so much older looking than Alan is it makes it seem weird that they are married and having a kid at the end. How old he was when they play the game compared to Sarah and how old she is when she's pregnant have always bugged me. I know since the parents are alive, it's before they played the game, but it can't be more than a year or two because those kids look the same.
shareAlan and Sarah are the same age. They're sixth graders(I looked way older than my peers at twelve and hated it) and by the time she's pregnant she's 38. She isn't the first woman to have a child at that age. The last scene most likely takes place around Christmas 1994.
shareI think it's believable for Sarah to look older as a kid because she has already hit puberty and Peter hasn't.
