Aside from Dredd removing his helmet, here are some things I found to be out of place for this movie and could've been better without it.
1. The "I knew you'd say that" lines
2. All that Post Production dialogue and sounds (the "I thought it was you" lineand growling sounds).
3. The "comedy" from Fergie.
4. The "love" tension from Hershey and Dredd
Also "Guilty!" when Dredd caps that member of the Angel gang. All excellent points btw. The only thing they got right was the art design of Megacity One and the ABC Warrior. Such a wasted opportunity.

I think like Jar Jar Fergie would have been okay in small doses, but shouldn't be part of the actual plot.

No Dredd framed for murder, I like to believe it was done to show his face so they could cast a star. Having him being diminished wasted so much potential in seeing him judging criminals on the streets.
