I did a marathon with Judge Dredd

I did a marathon with Judge Dredd, Inspector Gadget, Robocop 2014, and Demolition Man titled When A Man Is The Law. You guys can check it out on my blog.

Judge Dredd gets way too much *beep* if you ask me. Yes the 2012 reboot puts this one to shame but this is still a really fun movie that's entertaining and has a lot of nostalgia to it such as that kickass robot. Sylvester Stallone was awesome in this as well as Diane Lane and Rob Schneider. I think the only problem this movie had was it wasn't sure what it wanted to be, an action movie or a darker film.

I dunno, I recently watched it to give it a chance and I think they made all the wrong decisions. It felt like they copied the outline from Demolition Man (a much, much better film) to a T. Hit all the same beats, copied the plot. Many characters were the same. Way too cliche ridden, all the "twists" were 100% predictable and Schneider as comic relief was very annoying. While I liked Assante at first, his ham acting was terrible before the end of act 1 and Stallone was good when he had the helmet on but otherwise was doing his trademark snarls and monotone shouting too much. I don't think it worked at all.

What do you say, you dumb bitch?
