I just bought the movie and watched it. It was very well done! It helped explain a lot of details I never quite picked up from reading the Bible. Now it will make more sense the next time I do. (Now.... where's my "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat?" Gotta get back to that music.....!)

I REALLY liked it too! And it wasn't too short. When a movie (or in this case TV show?) is really good, let it keep goin'!

I was sort of disappointed that they started the story with him already sold into slavery.

You may have missed the beginning....remember, when this came out in the mid-90's, it was a mini-series; 2-2 hour shows, with commercials. When it was on last night, they played the whole thing with no interruptions, and it was 3 hours long, but I'd say maybe halfway through was when his brothers turned on him. Ya gotta see it from the beginning, its great!

Wait! Wait! Where are you going? I was gonna make Espresso!

reply

No, it does start out later in Joseph's life. His early life is further into the movie then one would think as Joseph tells it in story format to Potiphar, after Potiphar's wife accuses Joseph.
