Just Ordered the Japanese Blu-Ray

This is the version with the greatly increased role of Takeshi Kitano. $41 (including shipping) from Amazon Japan, if anyone else has a similar yen to take the plunge.

Depending on which source you believe, the Blu-ray itself is either Region A or region-free; either should play normally on any US or Canadian player.

I've got it, and it's awesome. It will play on north American players. But unless you can read Japanese, you're going to have to play around with it to understand the menu. I found a little help on utube, and figured the rest out by trial and error. So have fun with it, and good luck!

Two changes:

1) A completely different music score, and

2) A greatly increased role for Takeshi Kitano (to the point of his appearing alongside Keanu on the Japanese disc's cover).
