Loved the books....but....... .

I've always loved and enjoyed the book The Indian in the Cupboard and the sequels, but i have to say that the movie absolutely spoiled it. I'd rather read the book anytime.
For one thing, it's more detailed; secondly, the Omri in the book is more mature than the boy who acted as Omri. He's one of the worst child-actors i have ever seen!
