shareIt's been an _extremely_ long time since I last saw this movie. I had completely forgot about it until I found it accidentally on here tonight. I've gotta say that I enjoyed this movie, however I can only remember some very small parts of it. It makes me kind of wanna watch it again.

Omri is a Hebrew name. One of the dynasties of biblical Judaea was founded by King Omri he First.
It's a common name in Israel; I have an Israeli friend named Omri.
Of course, that has nothing to do with this poor kids acting abilities.

circle. And the camera slomos on him for
like 10 mintutes! Look at his expresssion!!!

It just a lame spin-off of Toy Story.

no it wasnt, this was out in '95.....toy story was out in '94
And the book was released in 1980.... Though the other person was obviously talking about the movie... >_>
As for the movie, I agree, the acting sucked the cast did two outside the cowboy and indian. I probably would dislike it a little less if I hadn't read the books. Then again the acting still would have sucked.
Toy Story was released on (American) Thanksgiving weekend of '95. This movie was released July 14 '95. It's impossible that either of the two copied from one-another, simply because films are near impossible to make in less than a year, especially an animated film of Pixar's calibre.

Yeah, the kid was a bad actor definately. I watched this film last night and now I remember why I never bought it, haha. I just found it so boring, the script was predictable, the kid was annoying, i thought little bear was REALLY annoying, if he was my indian I could of just tortured him....Kidding. No but really i would not have let him stay in my bedroom and have a little camp fire, he was a twat.

i dont think it was poorly acted....apparently it was exactly what the directir wanted if the kid beat out 500 other kids.....
