Underrated

Who agrees with me? I think this is a fun film to watch. It wasn't created with winning Oscars in mind you know!

I like it!!

Dear me! What is that unpleasant aroma? I fear the sewer may have backed up during the night.

So many years between posts but having passed on it as an alleged lame kids film back in 1995 and seeing it today, I can see it was underrated on release and still is. The magic of the cupboard somehow seeps into the story making it a good afternoon watch when nothing else to do. It might not be a great kids' film but there's certainly a lot worse kids' films than this out there. 7/10.

I think it got some good reviews at the time.

Nice film but that's as far as I would go. I've just rated this 6/10 on IMDb.

This film will always remind me of my childhood....

I was in 5th or 6th grade when this came out....everyday I'd come home from school and go to my moms room and watch TV, My Parents at Direct TV satellite, I spent very little time in my room so I didnt have cable or anything....but everyday when I got home from school from like 3:45 until 7 when my mom got home....I would watch TV, This Movie was Playing on like 6 different HBOs for a year, I swear I must of watched it 50 times....

Theres a few other movies that I feel they same way about ....Starkid, Big Bully, Angus, Blank Check, Little Giants, Richie Rich,Baby's Day Out, Camp Nowhere, In The Army Now, North, Little Big Leagues, Getting Even with Dad , Blank Man, Mortal Combat, Heavyweights, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie , Casper, The Cure, Major Payne, Jury Duty, Bushwacked, House Guest, Dracula: Dead and Loving It , Man of the House, Celtic Pride, Spy Hard, Bio Dome, High School High , Carpool , Matilda, Kazaam, The Nutty Professor, Mr. Wrong , Jack, Dunston Checks In , The Stupids , House Arrest.....

I literally can't watch any of these films without them immediately bringing me back to my childhood during this time...

ALL these Movies were Playing on the Dozens of HBO,Showtime, Cinamax and Starz channels my parents had... I bet I watched each of the 10 times each in the 5th and 6th grade when I came home after school
