Wasn't there more?

I dunno. I haven't read the book/seen the movie in like 6 years, but wasnt there more to the movie? I just saw it last night for the first time in a while and am wondering, didn't Omri make the girl indian come to life too? Wasn;t there alot more? I thought there was.....or maybe it was justin the book and not the movie? Or maybe I'm thinking of a different movie?

You are thinking of the books. When I was younger I read all the books. IN the books the story continues he makes the wife, and some other stuff happens I can't really remember. There were like three books in the series though.

Wow then I have a very vivid imagination indeed. I seriously thought that was part of the movie too. And like i said, I haven't read the books in like 6 years....wow.

There were more than 3 books; Omri makes the girl Indian come to life; he also makes a girl doll (dancer or bartentder I think) come alive for Boone later on; this figure belonged to Patrick's cousin. There were other soldier figures (like green army men) that turned into a real platoon; and a Matron (nurse) figure that was brought in also. In the Secret Of The Cupboard, Omri brings back his ancestor and several turn of the century characters to life. I haven't read the fianl boook at all, but I assume that there are more figures/characters. Little Bear and Bright Star have a son, Tall Bear.

there were 5 books, the indian in the cupboard, return of the indian, secret of the indian, mystery of the cupboard and key to the indian.
the indian was called little bull not little bear in the books, his wife is Twin Stars and his son is Tall Bear. Later in the books Boone gets a wife too, Ruby Lou.

I don't think I've read the last one, but I did like the fourth and the first one the best out of the ones I've read. They were all good though.

"the indian was called little bull not little bear in the books, his wife is Twin Stars and his son is Tall Bear."

Not necessarily.

From Wikipedia:

"The now-living Indian reveals his name as Little Bear (in some editions he is called Little Bull), and he is an Iroquois who lived in the 18th century"

"However Little Bear is a demanding character, and ultimately Omri must provide him with a bride, Bright Stars (in some editions she is called Twin Stars). "

I loved the first book but they kept getting increasingly more absurd as the series went on. There are alot of just bizarre plot moments that make no sense, but the one that sticks out the most is when Omri gets into a magic chest (I think the original cupboard was destroyed during a tornado or something?) that has the same powers as the cupboard and winds up spending a large portion of the book as a painting of some kind of animal on the side of a teepee which ends up burning up when a bunch of cowboys raid Little Bears camp (Omri barely escapes in time and most of his hair is singed off). I can't honestly remember if I ever finished the series or if it just got to silly for me. Posting quota is in place. You are limited from posting again for a short while:
