petition Branagh for release to DVD?

I've been surfing the net a bit, but I don't see that Mr. B. has a website, at least not officially. Is there anyplace we can write to get him or someone interested in releasing this film to DVD?

I would petition/write the company that has the distribution rights. The director/writer generally has very little input. Basically it is a marketing choice - they balance the cost of the release with the demand. A shame it isn't out on DVD when so many bad films are. Just a timing thing.

I would sign that petition too... this film is one of his very best.

I agree -- GREAT little film that NEEDS TO BE SEEN! I've worn out my VHS copy -- I'd donate BLOOD to get this film released on DVD!

Me too. One of the greatest feel-good christmas films ever - I dread the day when my VHS copy wears out...

Considering the Hamlet was just released on DVD but this wasn't I am worried that the chance has been and gone.

She has that winning mix of beauty and low self-esteem.

Maybe not. Maybe they're waiting to cash in on Hamlet and AFTER that, they will release Midwinter.

If not, we can alwayslook forward to the Criterion edition, in about fifty years...
