Why is Roxanne from A Goofy Movie/Mona from Mickey's Twice Upon A Christmas always getting kidnapped or beat up?

Did you all know that Kellie Martin did 2 made for TV movies which both aired in May 1995 but on 2 different channels? One was called "The Face on the Milk Carton" where she played a 16 year old girl who sees a picture of herself at age 3 on the back of a milk carton which aired on CBS on May 24, 1995 and this one, "If Someone Had Known" which aired on NBC on May 1, 1995. This was shorty after "A Goofy Movie" was released in theatres on April 7, 1995 and long after she murdered Tori Spelling in "Death of a Cheerleader" which aired on NBC on September 26, 1994 and long before "Mickey's Twice Upon A Christmas" was released directly to video on November 9, 2004.
