Just an excuse to get a sword into Lambert's hands

While I did enjoy this file and would like to see it again it realy was nothing more then a 90 min excuse to get a sword into Christopher Lambert's hands.

I really liked the film too, but the ending was pretty awful. I cant see how Lamberts character who just learned how to sword fight could defeat the top ninja just because he had to use his off hand.

i have never had to train or fight with a sword but with my off hand i can barely write my name. just a thought and they also said that in japan no left hand for sword fighting, or somwthing like that

Well, Kinjo was also very badly hurt, he'd been stabbed in the leg and the shoulder too. Plus, Lambert caused a platform to crash on Kinjo weakening him even more.

Yeah, the guy was pretty badly hurt, and still almost killed Lamberts character. The guy couldn't move, ninja or not your gonna get stabbed in that situation.

That might explain why one of the morons sitting behind me declared, 3/4 of the way through, "What the hell? This isn't a Highlander sequel!" Him and his friend then proceeded to leave the theatre. I heard them talking about getting their money back because of "false advertising".
