Question re: Winona Ryder + Leon Character

In the love scene between the Winona Ryder character and the hunky strawberry guy Leon, does everyone think that the two of them, how do I say this tactfully, "consumated" their relationship in the backyard (while lying on his shirt)

Or does everyone think that they just made out there for a while?

I think the former, because:
1) That's how every other one of the male/female stories in the movie ended up.
2) Look at the way Winona looks at Leon when she runs over to the truck. That's real passion in her eyes.

The Winona/Leon subplot is an interesting one in that--although Winona's brain is telling her one thing (stay away, your engaged, this guy's not too bright, its awkward for him to be feeding me strawberries) her heart (and perhaps her body) are telling her another thing--"be with Leon."

And eventually she willingly surrenders to her passion (and his advances), resulting in the love scene.

I suspect that if there was a sequel to the movie, Leon's a part of Winona's life--her attraction to him is too powerful to resist.

I think she full on cheated because of the way to told her mother about it.

IIRC she tells her mum:
"I fooled around in Sam's back" or something to that effect. Either way, it was "fooling around", which could be applied to making out or sex equally.

She probably slept with him. I like the fact that they left it to our imagination instead of showing it. That's a rare concept in films.

Finn rode him hard and put him up wet.

I think she definitely consummated their relationship!
