Love this movie, but...

I think it shows the ups and downs in any relationship whether it's brand-new for something that has transpired over great period of time. It shows how many factors including time. Further more, it also shows the affect one's love for another in conjunction with the roles that are expected of particularly women in certain time periods. It also looks and the way that people's relationships affects their friendships with others. But for me it felt like it was a big man bashing movie at times. What I like is that shows that there's no true happily ever after, and any relationship has to take work and will face obstacles that no one anticipates. Personal opinion of course. All in all the film was good, and Thomas Newman.always delivers on his scores.
