Ouch
This movie was unbearable. I turned it off at 30 minutes. The opening song was Jarring. Apparently it sets the tone for the film. So if that's the case, you'll know if you like the movie or not immediately.

This is a somewhat broad comedy but does not resort to slapstick (well, at some point it does) but it's an insightful look at how torturous family can be, in a comic way.
Just because it's not brilliant doesn't mean it's not funny, nor heartfelt and impactful.
This is a very good movie that shouldn't be looked poorly upon for not being Stupendous. It's trying to be something very much better and different than the usual fare.
Reminds me of Pieces Of April, something bittersweet and trying to tap the zeitgeist in a humorous yet disappointed way -- and at Thanksgiving !
