Logo Edit

Was there any nudity in this movie LOGO edited out alot of it.

reply

Yes there was nudity but I can only recall one scene. It was a scene involving Martyn and Tom and I think that Tom was nude

There is a scene where Frank gets out of bed where Oliver is in the bathroom, and you can see his butt. It's a bit eerie, because you don't know if he's intending to molest Oliver or what, but he ends up putting a robe on and hashly lecturing Oliver about his dad's homosexuality.

Logo has really been erring on the side of caution with anything even remotely threatening to FCC guidelines, I think because they are a gay station and there are probably plenty of religious right fanatical watchdog organizations with their eyes on them.

I hate to admit it, but that evil guy was kinda hot.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, that Frank was going to try to scare Oliver to stay by showing him what would go on all the time if he moved in with Martyn. All we got was a little homophobia, which meant little from such an evil character that Ollie didn't respect at all.

The FCC has no jurisdiction over cable. What cable stations bow to is advertisers. That's why premium channels and channels without commercials (like IFC and TCM) can get away with it.

Shame they edited it out, they are appropriate parts of the film. Tastefully done, not gratuitous. What prudes we have controlling our media.

reply

LOL, yeah they probably edited out the best part. Where we see Tom's fantastic ass (it looks great both in and out of clothes) and then we're treated to a far-too-brief sex scene (hey, it made me hard, but it could have gone on a little longer).

I just saw it on Logo. It was a good edit. Usually they cut out 45 minutes of movie. I was just upset that I had not seen this movie sooner. It got a little soapy in the middle but all in all it was a pretty great movie.
