It's hillarious, baby!

The second I saw the trailer for this movie at videodetective.com, I was a little skeptical. The reason I saw it was because I'm a fan of Tia Carrere and Thomas Ian Griffith (especially after seeing him in Karate Kid 3 and Excessive Force).

Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed when the action began. The humour in this movie is terrific, thanks mostly in part to Griffith who plays wild-eyed, lone wolf DEA Agent Parrish. Carrere mixed beauty with bullets in her portrayal of Diane Norwood, an unmarried F.B.I. agent who's tired of men slapping her on the rear and calling her sugar butt. All she wants is a little respect and her go-it-alone attitude definitely speaks for itself. And finally, Donald Sutherland definitely proves he's a force to be reckoned with as Garrett Lawton, a witty freelance killer who's seen the light and wants to be one of the good guys (but only after he's been betrayed).

Explosions, gun fights, car chases and lots of terrific one-liners keep this movie going on and on and even though it was on a low-budget, the director and producers definitely knew what they were dong.

Watch this film but only if you're a fan of someone in the cast. If you're not, you may be disappointed.

I love this movie. In fact, I have it on tape. It's got great action, a decent plot, and it's funny as hell. That scene when Max Parish runs up on the door to the warehouse as it's closing, and misses the opening by about 2 feet cracks me up everytime. I love all of Sutherland's one-liners as well.

I've always wondered why Thomas Ian Griffith never really made it big. He has so much going for him: a great actor, handsome, athletic, and he has great comedic timing. He was completely awesome in this film! It's a shame he doesn't get much high-profile work.

I love this movie also. I remember seeing movies like this on HBO back in the mid ninties when they would have Friday Night Action. There were some really great straight to video movies on there, the best coming from THomas Ian Griffith and Oliver Gruner! They don't make straight to video productions like they used to.

I'VE SAID THE SAME THING ABOUT THOMAS IAN GRIFFITH NOT BEING A BIG STAR.BECAUSE UNLIKE VAN DAMME,SEGAL,AND JEFF SPEAKMAN,HE CAN ACTUALLY ACT.DON'T FORGET HE WAS AN ACTOR BEFORE HE STARTED DOINGG FILMS LIKE THIS.

I love that bizarre song that Donald Sutherland's character kept singing.

"..And you're gonna find your anus in a mountain on Mars!"

Huh! WTF? LMAO!

You don't want to have heard of Jeff Speakman, I saw him in The Expert and he was terrible in that.
