Painful

What a pathetic movie--I knew who the "secret admirer" was from the very first phone call.

I feel the same way...everytime a watch a movie I have to look it up to see what others said about it: I'm shocked by the people who love this movie, it is pretty awful...and I love cheesy LMN movies.

reply

Why is it pretty awful? Dont you know it was based on a true story? That's pretty mean to say since it was based on a true story.

reply

It was my gut reaction...it is pretty awful. The story is flat and boring and the acting is borderline at best. Besides, my feelings about the movie have nothing to do with the "true story" it was based on. How accurate do you believe these so called movies are to the real life events? I would wager not very.

I agree with jmn310.
Long, drawnout, boring. I wanted ti slap the actors and say giddyap.

The husband seems so stupid. "... I felt sorry for her". How could you feel sorry for someone who was doing that to you, your wife and your marriage.

ugh..

What a waste of 90 minutes. Anyway, it would have been better if the sister had been behind it.

Watching it right now for the first time and yes the voice kind of gave it away.

This movie is tedious so I'm not watching it to the end. That early scene in the florist shop where the two employees there wouldn't tell him who sent the roses - oh please. He could have told them he's married and has a stalker harassing him and they damn well better tell him. Here is this grown man who folds and takes no for an answer and walks out. I'd be calling the police at that point and demanding to know.

i didn't like annie potts voice from the get go. it was so irritating. at least the other woman's voice was bearable. it started sounding similar as time went on and of course, at the bar, then i knew. all in all, i thought it to be a pretty good film. i love LMN movies. some parts of this movie were quite unbelievable such as the florist not saying anything but hey...it's a movie.
