Interesting juxtaposition

There is a scene after the beginning heist where Neil returns to his desolate apartment and is gazing outside of his window, with his back facing the camera. This scene reaffirms Neil's stance on the transitory nature of his lifestyle, always ready to leave it all behind at a moment's notice.

Towards the end of the film, we see a similar shot again, only this time we see Neil's profile as he gazes outside of the window. With this scene, we see Neil is no longer resolute, and that an element of doubt resides in him, as he has met Maddy and his life now has some consequence.

I haven't seen this film in many years, but I found these two scenes to be a subtle and interesting juxtaposition.
