Continuity Errors...

Hi, I watch this movie few years ago in VHS and because I like it, I bought the DVD recently and I didn't notice before this movie have huge continuity errors.
The scene where Aidan Quinn saw the dust spiral and follow it until he fell into the lake, you could see differences in the light...first was seemed to be at night, then during the dusk, then night... and so on.
Also, the scene between him and Beckinsale when her brother caught them, one shot she was with her robe very tight... then very loose... next shot tight again.
