Even though Danielle Harris was set to return as Jamie and even had herself emancipated so she could particpate. However I do wonder how things might have turned if she was paid the money she asked for since I would imagine if Jamie lived she might have went into hiding with Tommy and thus returned at the end of h20 if that film didn't ignore the events if these three movies.

They were ALWAYS going to kill her off in 6. She didn't want that and so she refused to return. Explaining why there was someone new filling in... She wasn't happy with the death scene either and that's why she didn't return for 6.
