Would you continue living in Haddonfield?

The events of the first two films must've shocked the town of Haddonfield, but once the dust settled, everyone would go about their lives as usual. After the events of the fourth and fifth films, I would probably want to get the hell out of that town. A man that keeps coming back to life each Halloween to kill his family? Bye. Even though I wouldn't be a part of Myers' family, I'd still want to get the hell out of that town. I don't know, I feel that I would be constantly creeped out while living there.

Well, unless I was a member of the Cult of Thorn, I would definitely get out of the state of Illinois. I'd go to Chicago, but then I'd hear some wacky stories about a red-headed doll that seeks a human body and a Black-Man with a hook that appears in a mirror if you say his name 5 times.

California is way worse. Michael is one man, going after babysitters and family. If I was neither, I'd be safe. California, however, has a curfew, Big Brother Cochran watching you on camera and an army of androids to kill you. Nobody's safe from that.

I'd probably move out west somewhere...maybe become a teacher for a private school. Michael would never find me there.

I wouldn't worry about it. He only appears on October 31st, and not even on every October 31st. It would be easy enough to be out of town on that day each year. Or, if you wanted to put an end to his career, it wouldn't be hard to do. He's been temporarily incapacitated multiple times by being shot with weak handguns, and a centerfire rifle or 12 gauge shotgun would do a lot more damage. Once he's down, just keep shooting him in the head with e.g., 00 buckshot until there's nothing left but hamburger.

Mike doesn't go around killing random people either. I guess by chance if you get in his way while he is trying to kill his target you are screwed, but basically just leave town for the night.

If you take the first 5 movies into consideration for a timeline, Michael Myers had attacked on three nights in the course of a decade (excluding his first murder at 8 years old). I would stay there knowing that his murders tend to focus on the Strode family members.

If you take the 4th and 5th movie out, it reduces his attacks to two nights. I would still stay.

After #6, I would leave town.
