Creepy ending

Michael's mask on the floor, the needle and then the scream. Its similar to the ending of the first film where Michael disappears after Loomis shot him 6 times.

H6 ending left me thinking "wtf happened?" same reaction I had with the ending of the first film. It was scary, mysterious and I prefer it like that but that producers cut ruin the mystery, damn.

The ending was definitely WTF happened. It was definitely improvised and not thought out. Thrown together at the last minute. Even if Pleasence had lived, the producer's cut ending of him being the new protector, not pursuer was not the way to go. I'm not sure what ending would've been satisfactory. Everyone left town, the cult is dead. Where would it have gone from there? No way Michael would've ever found them. It was a mess from start to finish and wrote itself into a corner it couldn't get out of, unlike the previous films.

Right because I was asking myself "who screamed?" "where's Michael?" "Michael escaped without his mask? but you know what? The movie ended on a creepy and mysterious note and I liked that. And again, its the same reaction I had with the ending of the first film when Michael disappeared. Thats just me.

I like H6. I know the plot/story is messy but the movie still retained the nature of the Halloween and the dark Fall atmosphere. Michael was scary and the graphic violence.

While I still enjoy the producer's cut but the theatrical do have a few nice scenes in Smith's grove I'd like added to it.
