I was very surprised to have read that Don is a three times World Kickboxing Champion. He doesn't look all that lethal in this film. Guess his talents simply don't translate all that well to the screen.
This movie reeks of B-grade action, but you just gotta love it for the campiness.

And I’ve run into a lot of people who don’t know that Chuck Norris was a champion who retired undefeated.
Real fighting doesn’t look like movie fighting.
They were both champs, but I wouldn't quite equate them.
Chuck was a point karate champion. Don competed in full-contact kickboxing.
While I have nothing but respect for Chuck, I have a special admiration for guys who actually stepped into ring to give and take full-force punches and kicks.
But you're right that real fighting doesn't look like movie fighting.
