lemmon/matthau's part?

this is the only lemmon/matthau movie i haven't seen, pretty unbelivable that i haven't ever seen it, one reason might be that i had gotten the idea years ago to "save it" since lemmon/matthau movies are probably the funniest films i have ever seen. this is also the only lemmon/matthau movie where they got a smaller part, and is not in the lead.
so can anyone who's seen the movie tell me about how big their roles are and such.
