I grew up on a farm, and my dad raised pigs, cattle, tobacco, etc. full time. When I was about 4 or 5 I would get up before everyone else and go to the barn to look at the pigs. I picked out one and made a pet out it. He stayed in the pen with the rest of the pigs, but I would pet him every morning and vaguely remember sitting on him when he got bigger. Apparently I had Porky the Pig (how original) for about 6 months before he disappeared one day. I asked my dad after I grew up if we ate him, but he assured me he sold him to someone else. I wish I had a picture of my pig. This was in the early 60's, and we couldn't afford such luxuries as film.
