Disney should make more movies like these

This was truly a wonderful movie with superb animation, great story and fantastic music. I have always enjoyed Disney's feature animations but I think that their time is now coming to an end. The box office results prove that. People have gotten tired of movies based on fairy tales. Disney definitely tries to make the stories interesting by changing a few things here and there and introducing colorful characters but the overall story remains the same and everyone knows it so there really is nothing much to look forward to. You know that Sleeping Beauty will be awakened by a kiss. You know that Aladdin will find a magic lamp. You also know that Cinderella will lose her glass slipper. etc etc

But the "A Goofy Movie" was really a breath of fresh air. Putting the characters in everyday settings meant that everyone could identify with them. Giving them real problems (and not evil queens) to combat made them feel even more real. The original story also meant that the audience would not know what is going to happen next. Will Max get the girl? Will Goofy screw up? I think the father son relationship has been very accurately depicted as well as the teen romance and school life.

I think Disney should consider taking some of its characters like Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, etc and putting them in real settings and make a movie like "A Goofy Movie".
