Goldeneye resort in Jamaica?

This movie wasn't filmed in Jamaica, Dr. No was. But there is a Goldeneye resort in Jamaica with a (presumably) James Bond motif.

That resort is Ian Fleming's old house in Jamaica where he did a lot of his James Bond writing, he named it Goldeneye LONG before the film was ever written. They named the film Goldeneye as an homage to Fleming. So it's not some resort named after a movie, it's the other way around. There's a book that I've heard is supposed to be pretty good called "Goldeneye - Where Bond Was Born: Ian Fleming's Jamaica" about the place and Fleming's time there.

"Dan Marino should die of gonorrhea and rot in hell. Would you like a cookie son?"

I actually visited Goldeneye in the summer of 1990, when it was owned by a private individual, before it became the resort it is now

They were renovating it at the time, and someone allowed us to walk around for a few minutes. The guy offered to sell me James Bond postcards, but we declined

Fleming wrote all of his Bond novels there between 1952 and 1964
