since License To Kill we never heard on his fate? ddi he die some were in the timeline 1989-1995? i guess he died some were in 91 92.

He didn't die - he lost his legs in LTK; I think the producers figured it would be much easier to bring in a new character rather than stretch believability by having him in the field still.

In the books Felix loses his hand and part of his leg in Live & Let Die, the second book. He returns with a hook for his hand

Well, yes, but that didn't happen in LTK as a film, did it? He loses his legs. So I imagine he either retired to a desk job or retired entirely.

I was so astonished when I saw JDB in GoldenEye. He was an okay villian in TLD, But as a CIA agent, not so much.
