Why do people say this was the strongest godzilla?

His atomic ray couldn't even destroy a friggen plane. And he fired at it twice no less. Based on his other movies, this is one of the weakest Godzillas I've seen since GINO.

Two things, Godzilla didn't defeat Destroyer. The Japanese military did with their ridiculous cold weapons. And two, having a plane of all things being able to withstand a red spiral ray is patently absurd. I usually judge Godzilla's power based on what he can do, rather than what color his atomic ray is. The atomic ray did minimal damage to buildings even. It had little effect on Destroyer, and couldn't destroy a plane. A PLANE. Planes are never durable like that. If they were, we wouldn't have a use for any other military vehicle, as the planes would be invincible.

The weakness of his ray would be enough, but he also fought like a slug. He was way way too slow, and seemed to plod along at a snails pace.

As far as I'm concerned, this is the weakest godzilla I've seen so far.

Yes, the plane was very unrealistic in the GIANT FIRE BREATHING MONSTER LIZARD MOVIE... good point.
The super-Xs are all designed to withstand his death breath. What's the problem? I do remember Godzilla taking Destroyer to school also. You think the G in 1985 could have done that?

I'm the dude...so that's what you call me.

Don't be an idiot. There has to be some believability. If they have invincible planes, why not make 5000 of them and send them after Godzilla with their overpowered weapons? There would be no movie, and Godzilla would be a wimp.

Either Godzilla is a weakling in this movie, or that plane is invincible.

ok... I'm gonna go ahead and suggest you take your Godzilla a little less seriously.

Good point. I'll be sure to get right on all of that. I guess you missed the part where I was saying you should relax and not get flustered over the "SuperX3" not meeting your standards of realism.

Look, I know you're upset and that's cool. Just take it easy though. When you turn 21 I'll buy you a beer and we can have a good laugh about this.

Did anyone else seem to notice that Godzilla was also DYING in this film?

Im sure if you were gonna explode and/or meltdown youd feel pretty weak toooo.
Its seems like this was the whole point of the movie.. or atleast Junior being in it. The Elder one is dying and Junior takes his place.

And yes.. the plane WAS meant to withstand Godzillas attacks and any other radiation based obstacles it should encounter.

Godzilla was dying.
And Junior was well.. a *beep* teenager basicly.
That would be why they were both kinda weak.
