What films comes next in this series?

Does Rebirth of Mothra follow this movie? Or is that in a seperate universe? I think Godzilla 2000 is a sequel to GvD, since that Godzilla could easily be Junior.

Yes, Godzilla 2000 makes no reference to any previous Godzilla films, not even the original "Godzilla" (1954), which is supposedly its direct prequel. So, this is quite a let-down for the starting movie of the Millennium series. There is even no indication where Godzilla came from-he just appeared on cue in this movie.

is makes total sense to me too after seeing junior in several previous films, growning larger in each film, then absorbing the radiation when Godzilla dies then becoming the new Godzilla in G2000. Why Toho has no connection between these movies according to them makes so sense to me

This is the final Godzilla film in the Heisei series, all the ones after this are in a different continuity. I don't know how the tie-ins connect though. :S

I may be in the minority here, but I alwyas thought G2000 WAS a full grown, re-mutated Junior...I know technically its not, but my 7-year old son thinks so...why ruin his thought process? Its logical. thus, no introduction.
