why no DVD?

I'm rather surprised that there is no Region 1 DVD of this film. I have a VHS edition, but you'd think someone would put out a DVD on this already. Robert Carlyle is an international star. What are they waiting for?

I get so sick of those "disease movie of the week" and this was refreshing.
