I have enjoyed Winingham's voice since the first time I heard her sing in a film. I have looked for her cd's but have always been disappointed. I can understand the demands would be tremendous having a film AND musical career. I guess I have to be happy with the soundtracks of her movies, although they are not completely her own voice. At least now I can create my own playlist.

Like Meryl Streep, Mare is an actress who can also REALLY sing. It would be great if they would do both music & acting, but I guess that, with them, acting is their real passion.

Mare Winningham's three CDs What Might Be, Lonesomers, and Refuge Rock Sublime are all available online. There are some music videos of her on YouTube, as well. :)
