Missing Something in the Title

I often find myself reading something in French and understanding every single word but still not "getting" it because of idomatic usage, slang, etc.

How would a French person interpret "Gazon Maudit?" Is there some slang or idiomatic usage that conveys a meaning other than the literal one?

Well, no it doesn't mean "Dreadful Lawn", you can't translate slang by a litteral translation. That doesn't mean anything anymore.

"Gazon" is a french slang term for "pussy". It comes from the expression "bouffer le gazon" (litterally eating the lawn) who really means eating pussy. So I kinda like the idea of translating this by "Blame It on the Pussy".

Of course the american distributor played it safe and lame with "French Twist". How convenient...
