Could be considered a sequel to 'Masters of the Universe'.

I've always liked to think of Galaxis as being a sequel to the live action Masters of the Universe movie, as it could be regarded as being an unofficial She-Ra film.

In the Masters mythology, She-Ra was He-Man's sister, secretly sent away to another planet as a child, who grows up to become a warrior, protecting her adopted home from the villainous Hordak.

In Galaxis, Brigitte Nielsen plays alien soldier Ladera, sister of her planet's ruler (Craig Fairbrass). When warlord/sorcerer Kyla (Richard Moll) kills her brother and teleports to Earth in search of an immensely powerful artifact, Ladera pursues him, and the resulting battles between the two of them in present-day America are similar to those seen in the Masters movie.

It's easy to imagine Ladera and Kyla as stand-ins for She-Ra and Hordak.

Well, if She-Ra had been to made into movie after Masters of the Universe. It would had been the right story for the She-Ra live-action film.

She-Ra leaves the planet Etheria and goes after the evil Hordak whom has traveled to Earth as he bids to seek out a mystical crystal which was created at the beginning of the time and learns it has fallen into the hands of a man running from the mob.
