I liked the German version better

Don't shoot me. I never thought I'd say those words, since German cinema mostly leaves me cold. But I liked their version of French Kiss. It was less conflictual, calmer, more pleasant, less sparkly, perhaps, but more the way I see good relationships evolving. The entire frenetic subplot of the stolen necklace is left out. If you ever have a chance, check it out.
