I hate to sound like a Rodriguez and Tarantino fanboy here but the first two shorts were too damn stupid.
Honestly, if I didn't know it was four seperates stories each with a different writer/director I would've turned it off right after 10 minutes.
Totally agree. I actually think the 3rd episode is just 'decent' (some like it quite a bit).
The fourth episode I think rocks.

Yup, the first two were dull and just didn't work, I was actually considering switching it off but Rodriguez and Tarantino knew what they were doing for the second half. I'm kind of a Tarantino fanboy, but I've got to admit that the Rodriguez one was my favourite.

When I 1st watched it, I only enjoyed 3 and 4. After watching so many times, 2 grew on me. I still hate the 1st one. Last couple times I watched the movie, I've skipped over the 1st part.
The only good thing I have to say about the 1st part is that its shorter than what's in the screenplay online I read for this movie. 1st part is even longer and stupider.
