I always thought this would be a clever, quirky film considering the premise and that tarantino and rodriguez were involved but boy was I wrong...The first act especially was AWFUL, god. I could have written something better in 7th grade, go figure some chic directed it. And Tim Roth was beyond annoying.

Of course it does. There are bad movies and there are good movies. There are some bad movies that I like just because, but I can still they're bad. You guys like this piece of *beep* and that's fine, but don't act like its some brilliant movie, it's awful. There's nothing funny about it. This is even below Tarantino's level of pretentious narcissism.

And will add to this, that what truly dismayed/horrified me about it, was the overall attempt @ 'hip', i.e. anybody who didn't find this ferociously UNfunny film with every other word being either the F or the S (presumably, Tarantino's 'brilliant' short-cut for 'funny'? = NOT!), is simply not sophisticated/educated/liberal enough to 'get' it; ugh! It's actually quite sick. All those marvellous actors getting on the bandwagon of a 'cool' indie-style movie which hey only those who 'get' it will 'understand'...just awful. Shades of the Decline of the Roman Empire (no i don't reference a movie i mean History...you know, stuff that has happened in the Past when situations & circumstances became bloated & decadent & beyond reasonable, sane or simply good?)! It's not just a matter of opinion; I detested it but most of all i disliked it because it IS a BAD MOVIE!!! There - i said it, AND stand by it! Guess that makes me a idiot (sic!), then.

Tarantino didn't write the movie, he only wrote the last segment. Also, he doesn't use swear words to be funny, he just uses them when he feels like it.
shareAgreed! I couldn't make it through the first room, a tiny bit better for the second room, then I gave up, even though I was watching it to see Bruce Willis. Not worth it! A one!

Yeah, room one was total garbage. I had low hopes at that point, but I was glad I stayed when I hit the third and fourth.
That's probably the reason why so many idiot hate this movie, the 2nd half is way better than the first. I have no patience for morons who only watch part of a movie and then call it garbage.
