Anyone get seriously freaked out....

by the animal shelter scene where the morning after Fluke's put in "the can" with all those other animals, it zooms in on the crematorium and all the other cages are open and EMPTY?! I'm hoping that man wasn't putting what I think he was in a GARBAGE BAG. Any thoughts?
