Guilty pleasure?
Come on, admit it! There's plenty of you out there that probably watch this movie and love it, while poking fun at it later. I'm one of them, I can say it (LOL). Yes, it's a guilty pleasure.

shareMe too. I'll throw this one in once in awhile. Not a great movie by any means but fun to watch if you don't take it too seriously.
shareI admit it. LOL I am watching it now!
shareOK, I plead guilty... I don't like this movie, especially when regarded as an Arthurian movie, but I have rewatched it yesterday, and some bits I do enjoy.
I already liked Julia Ormond, and now I think her character is the best written one (most of the time). But Gere really gets on my nerves, and so does his Lancelot. As for King Arthur and Sean Connery, they're both extremely disappointing.
The character and actor I like best are Malagant/Ben Cross. And it seems to me, when a viewer can only find solace in the bad guy, there's something wrong with the movie...
"Sometimes I'm callous and strange."
and what do you know, yep, I'm watching it again right this moment :-)
The soundtrack is excellent.
To me, it's a big favourite, and I always saw it as a great movie - finally a Kign Arthur movie that left out all that idiotic fantasy stuff! I HATED Excalibur.
Starry Vere, God bless you!
Did you like/have you seen King Arthur or The Last Legion? They're both fantasy-free.

i saw julia on the emmys and this is the first film i thought of "I TRUSTED YOEAUEAU!!!"
i didnt know it was this disliked. havent watched it in a long time, so i may feel differently now. i liked it at the time and even bought jerry goldsmiths score.
I like this movie too. I haven't seen it in years but it's not that bad...is it? Great, now I have to rent it on Netflix and watch it again.
--- If peeing your pants is cool, then I'm Miles Davis
It's an okay film.
shareI watched this last night on local IonTV channel.
I like it, it's cheesy sometimes, but on the whole, it's a quite enjoyable movie
