will Part III happen?
Idk if Steve Martin and Diane Keaton would do a III, but they'd have to be in it. Still, I'd like to see a III with the new daughter and grandson all grown up.
shareIn the past 3 days, there have been 3 different 'announcements' saying filming will start in early 2017 for Father Of The Bride 3. The funny thing is that there are 3 different locations announced (Wisconsin, Houston, Texas, and Fayyetteville, Arkansas) . And each article states that the movie is about a different character going to college - one says it is Meagan (George's youngest daughter), another says its Annie's first child and the third says it's Annie's second child! I wonder if any of these stories are true?

Coincidentally, Steve Martin and Martin Short are supposed to be doing a show in Lincoln in the near future.

There was rumored to be a third film in which Matty (not really a "bride") was going to be married. To a man.
I don't know if there was really any truth to it or just someone's wishful hope. I personally would have enjoyed this and I for one would be disappointed to find that it was the reason for canning the project.
