Someone please post the NEW lyrics to the song "IT DEPEND ON WHAT YOU PAY" that were written for the Revival currently playing on bway. This help would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

We did this in high school in 1970 and used the original lyrics. Have the PC police banned the song?
I hated the totally rewritten version used in the film.
I'm not aware of the new lyrics to the Rape Song. However, Harvey & Schmidt did write a new song entitled "The Abduction Song" some years after the original. (I *think* this was for the revival, because the use of the word "rape" was too offensive to audiences.) This is to the tune of the instrumental Rape Ballet, so at least they kept the original music.
If you want the lyrics to the Abduction Song, let me know. I just didn't know if that's what you're looking for.
