Reveiwer know it all

that knows nothing, kind of like Cliff on Cheers.

He didn't know that the "tiny little fan" was Ram Air Turbine(RAT).

They do have generators for the systems if power is lost.

here's the specs for the 767

Before he attacks a director about research maybe he should do a little himself.

I've seen this movie and it's good plus if you read his reveiw most of the are negitive and all movies about airplanes are negitive.

I am not allowed my opinion? Who made you judge and jury? hrm?

Sure, you can have an opinion, but when you defend it using "facts" that are completely ridiculous, I can have an opinion that you're an idiot.

The "little fan" being the RAT, provided enough electrical power to allow the hydraulics for the control surfaces to operate. That had basically no relation to the landing gear, which is designed to be able to deploy using only the force of gravity (presumably electronics would only be necessary to open the doors). However, the procedure didn't quite go as planned, as the nose gear failed to lock into place properly, causing the tilted situation of the plane.

As to your assertion that the rear wheels were off of the ground -- if that actually was ever shown, then it was simply a props mistake, because clearly the wheels _were_ on the runway and slowing the thing down. But I doubt even that, because you have to wonder, what would have been supporting the plane off of the ground besides the landing gear? Especially, what would have wedged it up high enough to keep the landing gear from reaching the ground?

So yeah. Basically everything you said is ridiculous, and you shouldn't complain when you get called on it.
