They should make a sequel to this movie, it just feels like the right kind of movie to makw a sequel to. and the robot was still alive at the end of the first. They could repair it or something but not knowing that it can never be reprogrammed or anything like that, and it kills again.

Indeed! And in case no one remembers, at the end of Evolver,he realy was not dead. Although he was blown to bits by Ethan with the lazer gun, the little red box (I'm guessing his CPU) said "kill not confirmed". Meaning they could have taken that small red box and built another robot using that remaining CPU that is left from him being blown to bits!
Like at the end of the Knight Rider Episode "KITT vs KARR", KITT and KARR turbo boost head on into each other with KARR blowing up. Right before closing credits, the camera is scanning the beach with KARR's part scattered over the sand from his explosion. And it picks up a blinking box which was his CPU, meaning he was still alive. He just needing to be rebuilt.

I saw this yesterday for the first time. I liked it, I would like to see a sequel. The ending sure left off for one.

If the same cast made it to the sequel it would be a shock to

They could probibly do a good re-make. I'd love do see a successful killer robot franchis take off. Or as AWERTH suggested in another post...Johny 5 vs Evolver vs Chopping Mall...Battle Of The Lazerbots!
Or just get ridiculous and make an all robot movie, with robocop, terminator, maybe some battlebots or transformers.
With the types of movies comming out now adays, I wouldn't be supprised.
