Was I the only one to get an occasional "war games" vibe during this movie?

Boy meets girl. Boy shows girl his high tech toys. Boy and girl get to know each other through tech stuff. Tech stuff gets them into trouble. They work together to get our of trouble with tech stuff.
Is that how you mean?
