Disney Channel went through a period where they remade some of their older films. "Freaky Friday", "Escape To Witch Mountain", and "Shaggy Dog" were in the mix somehow. They aren't technically Disney Channel original movies because most of them were aired on ABC before they began airing on the Disney Channel. (This was around the time that Disney bought out ABC)

Have you notice that the Disney Channel doesn't really play old movies like thses anymore? I mean, back when I was 13 or 14 years old, they would play escape to witch mountain, shaggy dog, and others all the time! now..just basically the only movies they play is their own original movies...which is getting kind of boring. I say they should bring back the old!

CHEETOS & BUGLES ARE SO MY AWESOME!

Amen to that! I for one would like to see this movie and the "Not Quite Human" (another Disney cable movie, or actually series here) released. There are many fantasy and scifi freaks like me out there who would buy more than one, for myself as well as for friends who I believe would be interested. Disney, except for their odd cartoon, isn't so great lately, so yeah, bring on the old stuff! Oldies but goodies!

Just to note, the three "Not Quite Human" films also originally aired on "The Wonderful World of Disney" on ABC (also, they were a "series" of movies, but not a TV series). The bulk of the TV movies that Disney made were aired on "The Wonderful World" (I think over the years it aired on CBS, NBC and finally ABC). "Not Quite Human," the "Mr. Boogedy" films, "Child of Glass," the made for TV-remakes of "Escape," "Freaky Friday," "The Love Bug" and the various versions of "The Shaggy Dog," were all first aired on network TV. It's really only been in this century that The Disney Channel has begun airing original films.

SO WEIRD! I loved that show!
It's disappointing now how Disney only plays new, fun, "hip" movies. What about the classics? I remember watching movies like Escape to Witch Mountain, Hocus Pocus, Rock-a-doodle, Kiki's Delivery Service, The Thirteenth Year, Stepsister from Planet Weird (it was a cute movie!)... There's a TON more, too. And old series like (I'm not saying I loved them, I'm just asking if people remember them) So Weird, The Famous Jett Jackson, The Jersey (those three used to always be together). Even Stevens, and even Lizzie McGuire.. I just can't stand these new stupid shows like "Brandy and Mr. Whiskers," "The Buzz on Maggie," "Naturally, Sadie," "American Dragon: Jake Long," "Dave the Barbarian," "The Suite Life of Zach and Cody"... WHAT IS THIS?

Oh hey, remember on Nick when there used to be shows like Are You Afraid of the Dark, Alex Mack, 101 Deeds of Eddie McDowd, etc..
