If anyone in the story could be equated to the Electra of myth, it's the young girlfriend. She's the one getting revenge for a murdered father.
Oh well, just one more thing about this goofy flick that makes zero sense.

I'm so bummed out! All I wanted was to check out a Shannon Tweed movie when I decided to watch Electra. I thought it was some kind of 90s cable superhero flick with Tweed fighting crime, which it wasn't. It could've actually been a pretty good movie if they focused on the psychosexual theme instead of the tired "cheesy mastemind wants your power" thing. The most entertaining thing about Electra was the sequence of outtakes in the end. Still, thanks to you I got to read up on what Electra stands for.
