Why Wasn't There A Sequel Done For This Movie?

At the end of Electra they show that there is suppose to be a sequel done. Why did they not make a sequel to this? It would have been nice to see a sequel done because I wondered what they would have done you know.

I would have loved it done and watched it as well.
